TabTrade - What Traders Should Know
TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
